My Family’s Favorite Recipes (Updated)

I had so much fun making the list of my family’s favorite recipes almost a year ago, and it happened to be one of our most-read posts last year…. So I decided to do an updated favorite recipe list!

I’m always on the lookout for a simple, healthy, and delicious meal. It can be hard to get all three of these in one recipe. But most of the recipes on this list meet these criteria! (Or at least most of them, anyway! 🙂 )

Dinners

-Tacos (simple beef ones with 1 pound of beef + taco seasoning packet, with favorite taco toppings)

Taco salad (Six Sisters’ Stuff)

Chicken Tacos (Carlsbad Cravings) ***Slow cooker

French Dip Sandwiches (Our Best Bites) (These are DROOL worthy!) ***Slow cooker

Homemade Macaroni and Cheese (Pioneer Woman)

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole (Blog Chef)

Hamburger and Potato Casserole (Get Crocked) ***Slow cooker

Shepherd’s Pie (Six Sisters’ Stuff)

Black Bean Burritos (Gimme Delicious Food) (This is one of my FAVORITE dinners of all time! I ask my husband to make it for me all the time. 🙂 )

Cheesesteak Sandwiches (Our Best Bites)

Healthy Sweet and Sour Chicken (Creme de la Crumb) with Quinoa Fried “Rice” (Gimme Some Oven)

One-Pan Cheesy Chicken, Broccoli, and Rice (The Girl Who Ate Everything)

Baked Chicken Chimichangas (The Girl Who Ate Everything)

Thai Peanut Noodles (Dinner at the Zoo)

Crispy Parmesan Garlic Chicken with Zucchini (The Recipe Critic)

Meatball Stroganoff (Julie’s Eats and Treats) ***Slow cooker

Pulled Pork (All Recipes) (I don’t think we can ever make any other pulled pork after trying this recipe. It’s the best! 🙂 ) ***Slow cooker

Breakfast

Easy and Fluffy Belgian Waffles (Something Swanky) (Let’s be real… we make this for dinner more often than we do for breakfast.)

German Pancakes (High Heels and Grills)

Triple Berry French Toast Casserole (Mom on Timeout) (My hubby RAVES about this one!)

-Breakfast smoothies

—Ingredients we use in smoothies: Frozen fruit, orange juice, ripe bananas, peanut butter, PB2 (peanut butter powder), skim milk, chocolate soy milk. I want to start branching out and use spinach and other greens in our smoothies. Especially if I can sneak these in and get my kids to eat more vegetables.

Desserts

Monster Cookies (Betty Crocker)

Chocolate Chip Cookies (Two Twenty One)

Butterfinger Muddy Buddies (High Heels and Grills)

Cookies N’ Cream Muddy Buddies (Mandy’s Recipe Box)

One Bowl Chocolate Cake (Six Sisters’ Stuff)

Reese’s Peanut Butter Sugar Cookies (Chef in Training) (These are some of THE best cookies I’ve ever tasted in my entire life.)

Reese’s Peanut Butter Poke Cake (Six Sisters’ Stuff)

Frozen Hot Chocolate (Lil’ Luna)

Peanut Butter M&M Cookies (Lil’ Luna)

Butterfinger Fudge Cookie Bars (Shugary Sweets)

Can you tell that my family is obsessed with peanut butter desserts??? 😉
